Judge Jennifer E. Niemann

Bio

       Judge Niemann was appointed on June 16, 2020. Prior to her appointment, Judge Niemann was in private practice and represented Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 11 trustees and creditors in bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings. Judge Niemann also served as a long-term judicial law clerk to three different bankruptcy judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of California. Judge Niemann received her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
