Notice Concerning e-CalWebFiling System Availability
Revised September 2, 2003 |
|
| |
The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of California's electronic case filing system (e-CalWebFiling)
has been taken offline and is no longer available for the submission of electronic report data by chapter 7 panel
trustees. Although not used by the Court to make entries in the official record, electronic trustee report data is
still needed by the Office of the U.S. Trustee to update its records. As a result, chapter 7 trustees should
continue to prepare electronic trustee report data files using their trustee software . But, instead of using the
Court's Internet site to upload the report data files, chapter 7 trustees should attach the files to an e-mail
message and send them directly to the U.S. Trustee addressed as follows: Irma.Garcia@usdoj.gov.
A new system for the electronic submission of PDF formatted documents that don't require payment of a fee in
chapter 7 and chapter13 cases and related proceedings will be available mid-September. Enhancement of the
new system to permit the batch processing of documents, including trustee reports, is expected to be completed
before the end of this calendar year. Please check the What's New page of the this site beginning mid-September
for information concerning system features and user access.
