Electronic Claims

  • Proofs of Claim filed by a debtor or trustee on behalf of a creditor are to be eFiled through the eCalWebFiling system. See training module "How to File a Proof of Claim by a Debtor or Trustee on Behalf of a Creditor."
  • With the exception above, Proofs of Claim for all chapters may be filed electronically. No username or password is required. Click the "File an Electronic Proof of Claim" link located below to complete the fillable B10 form and file a proof of claim online.
  • Information entered on the fillable B10 proof of claim form will be used to create a completed, FILED stamped B10 Proof of Claim. Documents that support the claim may be attached. Attachments must be PDF files.
  • To file an amended proof of claim, check the box indicating that the claim amends a previously filed claim.
  • The full name and title of the creditor or other person authorized to file the proof of claim must appear on the form. If someone other than the creditor is filing the proof of claim, the address of that person must also be included. Filing a proof of claim electronically deems the claim signed by the creditor or authorized person.
Penalty for filing a fraudulent claim: Fine of up to $500,000, imprisonment for up to 5 years, or both. 18 U.S.C 152 and 3571
